Rail & Ale Day Trip: South Woodham Ferrers to Southminster

Are you ready for a fantastic afternoon out? We are heading off on a completely free Rail & Ale trip to Southminster on Thursday 19th November, and we want you to join us!

Here is everything you need to know about our journey leaving South Woodham Ferrers and getting back:

🛫 Departing South Woodham Ferrers:

• Meet up: Meet us at the Greater Anglia South Woodham Ferrers Station Car Park (Hullbridge Rd, CM3 5NQ) at 12:25 PM.
• All Aboard: We will catch the 1:03 PM train from South Woodham Ferrers station, arriving in Southminster at 1:36 PM.

🍺 What's Included:

• A short walk to Wibblers Brewery for a complimentary lunch baguette (Sausage & Onion, Tuna, Ham, Beef, or Cheese) and a half pint or soft drink.
  • Don’t forget to add your name at the SWF Shed or you won’t qualify!
• An exclusive, 40-minute guided tour of the brewery.

🛬 The Return Journey:

• Main Return Train: We will head back to the station after the tour ends at 4:00 PM. The train departs Southminster at 4:13 PM and gets us back to South Woodham Ferrers at 4:34 PM.
• Early Return Option: If you need to head home a bit earlier, there is also a train leaving Southminster at 3:33 PM that you can take.

💡 Quick Tips:

• Your official invitation is your free ticket to travel, so please make sure to bring it with you! NO TICKET, NO PARKING!
• From Southminster Station it’s a short walk to the brewery is on a road without a pavement, so please wear sensible walking shoes.
